Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"It was the best touch to visiting Lucca. Lasagne… it melted in my mouth, so delicious one of the best ones I have had in Tuscany. Home wine also very tasty. The staff was soo friendly, always smiling, helped me with my indecisiveness a little bit for which I am grateful!!"
"Small casual restaurant with big flavors. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, excellent pastas and wine all for reasonable prices. PS: ask Leo for the WiFi password and see what happens"
"Best meal in Tuscany during our 9-day trip! Out of all the meals we had, this one stood out by far. The ciccia tagliata di manzo was perfectly cooked — juicy, flavorful, and just right. But the real surprise? The baked potatoes. Absolutely dreamy. They were so good we actually ordered another round just for the side dish! The setting added to the experience — a romantic terrace with a beautiful view. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend making a reservation, but we were lucky to get a table without one. Truly unforgettable!"
"I have no idea how to describe my compliment on their served foods. I ordered their spaghettoni and oven cooked potatoes, and they were so natural taste as like I eat meal in my parent's house. All foods made me feel comfortable, and this is my first feeling in all visited Italian restaurants. Especially, spaghettoni was well balanced, and I super recommend ordering the menu. Their homemade pasta was so amazing!!"
"Family style and the best meat pasta we have had in the entire Italy trip so far. The sweet vegetable pie was amazing (chard) with a surprising taste that we can’t describe (not too sweet)"
"Amazing place! The food was delicious, and the service was incredible. I had the privilege of meeting Anna and she was so fun and lovely. We had a great chat and she recommended a few dishes to me. The others servers were also polite and friendly. I had the bruschetta which was very very good. The local olive oil is to die for. Next I had the beef ravioli in ragu sauce, also very delicious. Very meaty and filling. For my main I had the luchesse stew with rabbit, beef, pork, chicken and potatoes. I really wanted to try something local and this was it. Overall is quite good, but there were some bones it. Didn’t bother me, but I know it might bother some others To finish it off I went with the chocolate tart which DEFINITELY fulfilled my chocolate craving. Highly recommend. Overall, this place is great but it does get busy. I showed up at 19:20 alone and I was able to get s table inside. If you want to sit outside you need to make a reservation, and if you want to have dinner here at all just get here when they open. Enjoy!"
"A pleasant dinner with attentive service. No wait for a table although the restaurant was beginning to fill up. I thought it was well worth the price. Nice choice in Lucca."
"Food was very tasty and delicious. We even got to see Anna! Waiters are very nice and sympathetic. Would strongly recommend this spot."
